Happy Hour at Just Dip It In Chocolate

Hola amigos! Bienvenidos! Welcome at the first Happy Hour Friday here at your blog! I'm really wishing it was Spring already! We had a bright, crisp, chilly day here today, but the lovely brightness gave me hope that Spring is just around the corner..so what better way to celebrate the soon and very anticipated arrival of Spring than with a cocktail good for kids and adults, bursting in color and flavor!

After I tried and tasted this refreshing drink I knew it's flavor reminded me of something...and all of the sudden it hit me...Lime Lifesaver Candy!...Tastes just like it..and the awesome thing is that you can actually make it any flavor is your roll's favorite by only tweaking and ingredient here and there! Let's get started!

Liquid Lime Lifesaver Cocktail

For Kids
4 Cups Lime Sherbet
4 cups of prepared frozen Limeade
7 up soda

For Adults
All of the above but replace soda with Champagne

First of all, prepare your frozen limeade concentrate according to the package instructions. Once this is done add 4 cups of it to a blender. Add 4 cups of the lime sherbet. Blend for a couple of seconds.
Pour half way on a cup and fill the rest with the 7Up or Champagne!
Listo,

It's sweet, refreshing a delicious like a spring day!

Perfect color combination for St. Patrick's Day too!

I really think I had my Eureka moment with the last minute addition of the Champagne.

So what do you think folks, a new cocktail to try at home with your friends on your next get together or to surprise your kids with their favorite Lifesaver Candy Flavor.

As always wishing you a great weekend and remember that everything tastes better, even cocktails, with a Pinch of Love!

Besitos,
Lizy

  4. Sounds delicious and really pretty for a green drink (I have a hard time with green liquids like I have gone to make pesto so many times but the thought of eating it makes me want to gag). One year my college roommate tinted everyone's milk green, yep I had to throw it out. But I love lime and this seems like it would be really good so I think I can I think I can. Thanks for sharing.
