Choco Banana Shake

Me-Me Time Shake
Hola Amigos! you are probably wondering why two names for just a common chocolate banana shake. Well this one I named Me-Me because I made it just for me! Yes Sir-eeee Bob! This one is just for mamma...why, because mamma is sick and tired of being sick and tired! For the last 3 weeks I've been fighting mano a mano with the stupid Flu or something like it...seems to me I'm fighting something out of  a Stephen King book! Or bettter yet, I have "The Jason"!!! When you think he is gone..he comes back with a vengeance..but I'm putting and end to "The Jason Saga" right  now...after I'm finish writing this post, as much as I hate to do it.. I'm calling the Cavalry aka The good old family Doc! Spring is just 13 days away and I'm not about to miss one day of it with the sniffles, so I made this shake to cheer myself up...yeah, yeah, yeah...I don't care if you don't like bananas (my Thing 1) and I don't care if you don't like caramel (my Thing 2), I don't care if you don't like cinnamon and spices (Cat in the Hat), I do and I'm not sharing...only with you guys and here is the recipe:

Choco Banana Shake

4 Cups of Milk
1 Tablet Chocolate La Abuelita (yes guys, it really has to be this one)
1 frozen banana
Caramel syrup to Taste.

Heat up your milk in a saucepan and melt your tablet of chocolate La Abuelita . Divide the chocolate mix in 2 containers of 2 cups each an put it in the freezer/
Once it's frozen put one portion (2 cups) in the blender, with your frozen banana and start your frappe cycle. I think it works better on this one because everything is frozen. Half way through the process, add caramel to taste.
Serve it up in a ginormous cup drizzled in caramel and enjoy!

Listo,

It's not overly sweet or chocolaty, It's just the right amount of goodness to cheer yourself up when you need some Me- time.

This Mexican chocolate is rich with flavors of spices and that is mainly what you taste, with a hint of banana...and of course caramel...

And yes...my beloved spoon, because you guys know I like to spoon my shakes, LOL!!!

Thank You for sharing with me my Me-Me Rant!...a dear friend of mine told me on a sweet email today "Caregivers Need to take Care of Themselves Too" I think she is right! Thank You Bee! No matter the distance you are a great friend!

P.S....in case you think I'm too mean to the guys and just left an empty blender for them stare at....remember when I said divide in 2 portions of 2 cups each.....well, this one is just for them so I can make it their way with a Pinch of Love, after all a mom and wife could never be 100% selfish!

Besitos,
