I hope I'm not the only one with this problem. Are you like me? or do you have the decoration of this spot down to a science? I said to myself I wasn't going to stress out about it just having a good time decorating the way I like things. leaving rules out and enjoying the Season with a good little cup of eggnog in one hand and a cupcake nutcracker in the other! I did and I like it!
This year I like the bright colors...it just makes the whole room happy and cheery! My main theme as you remember is candies, bake goodies, cookies...in one word...A Sweet Christmas! My kitties sure think is a sweet spot to rest and play with the ornaments! So as long as someone in this household is happy, I'm happy too!
Lots of pictures here. I apologize in advanced. I couldn't decided which one in particular was "The Shot". I used a few of my Sweet Goodies Nutcrackers, lots of Ornaments to go with our tree which is mainly decorated with hundred of ornaments, Colorful Stockings and Present Boxes!!! why put the present's only under the tree! Let your walls do the talking too! It's a little out of the norm, but why not? Thinking outside the box (no pun intended) is always a Plus in my book!
Hope your Christmas Decor is going according to schedule, but most of all You are Having Fun with It!!! That's the main thing about the Holidays, no Stress just Fun and Joy!
Besitos,
Lizy

I love your decorations! I love how the colors are Christmas but they are not the usual red and green. They are bright any fun! Merry Crhistmas!
ReplyDeleteOh Thank You so Much! I love color!!! it's so dark up here during the winter months that a big Punch of Color is a Must for the season! Thank you for visiting and Feliz Navidad to you too!
DeleteHi Lizy!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to learn that you've started a blog, and I'm so impressed with your wonderful Christmas decor. When I got your note a few days ago I didn't have time to reply but I did pop over here then and have a look around. I LOVE the banister with all the ornaments! I just didn't have time comment then but made a special trip back this evening and I'm blown away by your festive and so cheerful mantle. I think it's just adorable and love that you've used all this color. I think you're a mantle decorating pro...doesn't look like you don't like decorating this area. I very much miss having a mantle. In this house, there is nothing so I put some greenery across the space where the mantle would, and in my opinion, should be.
Thank you for inviting me over! I'm signing up to follow now.
Big hugs to you,
Nancy
Nancy, My Dear, how sweet of you!!!! I appreciate your visit so much! It fills my heart with joy and to know that you liked my "wild" decor..Even Better! You know there would be a post in the future about Transferware and the spotlight would be shinning bright on you! {{Hugs}} and again Thank You!

DeleteWell, this is what came out of my mouth as the picture appeared on my computer "OH MY GOODNESS!" I flat out am in love with it! What a clever idea to put the presents on the wall. I don't think you are struggling at all! The abundance of shiny ornaments is fabulous. I have that same nutcracker. My DIL saw it and wanted one. Wish she had said that a week ago as I had seen one at Tai Pan a week ago, but now they are all gone. You have done an AMAZING job! What a magical spot.
ReplyDeleteJacqueline! You're such a ray of sunshine every time you stop by my blog and write a comment! My house is "Tiny" so trying to keep everything in balance when you are fighting your inner self to put everything and the kitchen sink out is a challenge! I'm so glad you love it!!! I have 13 nutcracker all together, all with cupcakes or sweets related themes! I exercised self control and just put my favorites out :0) hard, very hard indeed! Happy Christmas Jacqueline and again Many Thanks!
DeleteHow stinkin cute is this! Love the presents on the wall. I'd like to sit with a cup of cocoa and wait for Santa to arrive now ;o) Fun!
ReplyDeleteYou are more than welcome Debbie!!! after all there is a little guy holding a sign saying "Cocoa this Way"!!! :0) Thanks for your sweet comments! Have a Happy Christmas!
