Spiked Monster Halloween Cocktail Recipe

Spiked Monster Halloween Cocktail Recipe, Isn't this adorable? It sure is, but don't be fooled by it's looks. Our monster friend here is spiked making it the perfect cocktail for mom or dad on Halloween night.
Hola Amigos! This one is for mom and dad only. Once in a blue moon (no pun intended) I like to enjoy a cocktail while watching tv or just checking out other blogs. I like mine sweet, what a surprise, right? ..so this one fits the bill!
Spiked Monster Halloween Cocktail Recipe. Adults want to have fun too at Halloween, here is a tasty way of doing it while keeping it festive.

My little monster friend here is basically a White Russian with ice cream instead of cream. You could totally make the original version and then just call it a" ghost" if you wanted to, I just couldn't pass the opportunity of using this amazing Blue Moon ice cream I found at the store the other day and since is Halloween, why not!
Also at the store I found a new Cool Whip Topping Frosting! I really like it! it is thick, holds well just like frosting and you  just keep it in your refrigerator. I think is perfect for these kind of drinks.

It's sweeter than the traditional but don't be fooled by the sweetness, it's still spiked so be careful, lol!
"Too Friendly" Ghost

Spiked Monster

I think these guys  have a mild case of  hangover, look at those eyes, lol!!

It is Friday tomorrow so go ahead and  get what you need to make this delicious cocktail and enjoy! Have a happy pre-weekend and remember my friends everything tastes better with a Pinch of Love!

Graveyard Mud Halloween Brownie Milkshake Recipe

Graveyard Mud Halloween Brownie Milkshake Recipe, Enjoy the pleasure that only the Un-Dead have been able to enjoy so far. Chunks of rich brownies and nuts on this shake, you will probably need a shovel to dig them out! Yummm!
Hola Amigos! I woke up this morning with that "I need chocolate to start my day" feeling and I just knew how to get the job done! A milkshake...is milk after all right?
Recently I brought home a box of cosmic brownies. I just loved the way those little sprinkles looked against the fudgy icing. I'm not a big fan of store bought brownies or brownies in a box, but I couldn't resist, what can I say? lol
Graveyard Mud Halloween Brownie Milkshake Recipe, rich and chunky, you will need a "shovel" to dig out the brownies out ! Delicious

I've never put actual brownies on a chocolate milkshake before, but I didn't stop there,  I used my seasonal Butter Pecan Ice Cream..oh yeah! this is the season this ice cream pops in every store freezer!

The mom in me started to feel guilty for preaching one thing and practicing another (no ice cream for breakfast),  I gave in an added some cereal, just to top it off.
Graveyard Mud Halloween Brownie Milkshake Recipe, This is the most delicious dirt you've ever had! Chunks of brownies and nuts on this shake you will probably need a shovel...oops, a spoon, to dig them out!

Voila! Breakfast was served. And believe me, after having this I was bouncing off the walls, lol
I love it! It's thick, rich and delicious, but of course if you have to much of the good thing...eventually you will join "Bones" here...so everything with moderation!

I hope you are enjoying all the Halloween recipes so far. As I mentioned a while back, I like to do all my Halloween decorations in the month of September, and now that I'm blogging. well why not tie my blog to what I'm doing doing here in my house. Everything you see here is exactly what we are eating or is displayed in my house at this very moment.
Graveryard Mud Halloween Brownie Milkshake Recipe, delight every member of your family with dirt! Loads of Ice Cream and Chunks of Brownies on this delicious Shake!

If you don't celebrate Halloween, I hope you don't get discouraged or offended  by my posts, I will be sharing Fall related recipes on October plus celebrating the blog's 1st anniversary, which happens to be on October 31st!

Thank You for stopping by the blog today! Have a Fantastic week my friends! Remember everything tastes better with a Pinch of Love!

Besitos,

Rum and Coke Mocktail Milkshake Recipe

Rum and Cole Mocktail Milkshake Recipe, You don't need alcohol to enjoy this sweet summer drink! but if you must...Have fun
Hola Amigos! Where did Summer go? We're about to have the last unofficial BBQ and summer party of the season and I'm saying goodbye with a great mocktail, Rum and Coke turned into a shake, no alcohol here, BUT if you wanted to say bye with a Bang..why not, it's your party, you can do what you want to, or so the song goes, lol.
Rum and Coke Mocktail Milkshake Recipe, a delicious sweet summer drink with no regrets, have as many as you want since there is no alcohol here, maybe a few extra hours at the gym!

It's refreshing and rich, better than the actual highball since could have as many as you want without a hangover the next day...well, maybe a few extra minutes at the gym but that's always a good thing.

I was checking Wiki for the origins of Rum and Coke aka Cuba Libre and I found a whole variety of cocktails derived from this popular one, Cuban Missile Crisis, Midas, "Hot" Cuba Libre and my favorite name so far, Witch Doctor, sounds perfect for Halloween don't you think.

What are your plans for this last week (kind of) of summer? Some good fun family get together, last minute picnic? a labor day parade? whatever it is, I hope you think of including this delicious drink in your menu! It is good and even better when you add a Pinch of Love!

Cookies and Cream Cannoli Cones Recipe

Cookies and Cream Cannoli Cones Recipe, can't find cannoli shells? don't feel like baking one? no problem how about waffle cones instead. Enjoy this sweet on the go treat this summer! Crunchy, Creamy and Sweet, yum
Hola Amigos! Another week comes to an end which brings us to the end of summer. I can't help to start getting in the mood for earthier  flavors on main dishes and desserts  even though the official start of fall is more than a month away (Sept.22) , do you feel the same way?
But...let's not rush it and have a few more rounds of fun and easy going summer treats! Just like this one!
I set my mind the other day to make homemade cannoli. Easier said than done. First,  I couldn't find cannoli shells anywhere and I didn't feel like baking any either, after all it's supposed to be an easy dessert. So I improvised and used waffle cones and then myy mix turned out a little softer than I wanted to fill the cones so I turned them into parfait by crushing almond cookies into the mix. Problem solved and a wonderful refreshing dessert was born!
Cookies and Cream Cannoli Cones Recipe, Creamy and Crunchy, the classic Italian dessert, takes a turn by the use of waffle cones and crushed almond cookies! Delicious summer treat!

I tell you, I think I like these better than if they were the real thing! Easy to handle, no forks or plates, Mobile, the kids took them outside right away.Crunchy, crumble cookies in the inside and crunchy waffle cone on the outside and Creamy...the cannoli filling just the way you like it!

I plan on doing this recipe for family gatherings for now on...I can see it already it would be a hit coming Thanksgiving...well it won't replace the pie...but, who knows!

Most of my ingredients I had at hand, I just had to buy the ricotta and it was on sale too! So it's an inexpensive dessert to feed at least 8, depending how generous you are with your cone filling.
Another summer dessert for you my friends. I hope you give this one a try! is worth every single calorie, I promise you that!
Cookies and Cream Cannoli Cones Recipe, treat your family to this sweet, crunchy and creamy treat tasting just like your traditional Italian Restaurant dessert but made from the comfort of your home, Waffle cones, almond cookies and creamy ricotta would make this dessert one of your favorite summer treats!

Oh one more thing, even though traditional cannoli is not a dessert that should be frozen by any means, my son couldn't finish his 3rd and froze his and had it like a real ice cream cone the next day...so seems to me it works as a frozen dessert too!

Thank You for stopping by! Put on your shades, go outside and enjoy the sunshine. Remember that no matter the season, everything tastes better with a Pinch of Love!

Besitos,
